Emerging from the UK rave culture, he became one of the first breakout stars and most recognisable faces of electronic music, known for his fusion of breakbeats, orchestral textures and emotive vocals.\n\nThe first special guests to be announced include London-based, French-Senegalese polymath anaiis, jazz drummer, composer and producer Yussef Dayes, and jazz singers Natalie Williams and Cleveland Watkiss, with more big names to be announced soon.\n\nGoldie first gained recognition as a graffiti artist in the early 1980s, contributing to the UK’s burgeoning street art movement. His passion for hip-hop and breakdancing led him to the US, where he immersed himself in the New York scene and began crafting gold dental jewellery, which became a signature part of his image.\n\nHis musical journey began with collaborations under the alias Rufige Kru.
