Back in 2018, two friends in Manchester decided that there was a distinct lack of footwork parties around. They decided to take corrective action and Juke Joint was the result. Now, 8 years on, it's time to celebrate another year in the game with one of the OGs of footwork, DJ Spinn! With a music career stretching back to the late 90s, DJ Spinn is one of the founding fathers of Chicago footwork. Still flying the flag for Teklife following DJ Rashad's passing, Spinn's productions, both solo and collaborative, will feature heavily in any fan's playlists and his DJ sets are some of the most energetic you will come across, filled with exclusive tracks and razor-sharp blends. If that wasn't enough for you, we are bringing Big Dope P back up to the North to join the party. As the head of the killer label Moveltraxx, Big Dope P has been steadily building up status as a titan of the scene, with mixes that constantly have us demanding track IDs. His Juke Joint set back in 2023 is among the favourites we've ever hosted, but we reckon this one could top it! Finally a birthday party is nothing without friends, so we have two of our besties joining as icing on the cake. Yyre and Gina will be going b2b in the basement - both are absolute slayers on the decks so we are really hyped to see what this combo brings...
