Avalon Cafe is a shining example of a quality small club that puts community first and consistently delivers. It is one of my favourite spots in London. How It Started is all about celebrating the format. Collecting, curating and performing quality, high-tempo cuts. It's unpretentious, friendly and fun. This one is right back to basics. Heavy system, minimal lighting, and four friends sharing their favourites for you. This is How It Started is at it's core. Drinks are reasonably priced and tickets are all £12.50, no tiers.
