FADED PRESENTS PROJECT: SHARED CRATE Shared Crate is a new music discovery night built around a simple idea: what happens when the DJs on a lineup actually share music and influence each other’s sets? Before the night, each DJ starts their own crate with a couple of tracks that represent what they want to play. The other DJs then dig for music they think would fit and add their own suggestions. Everyone will work some of those tracks into their set, alongside their own selections. The first Shared Crate brings together K Hole, French Flavour, TG Equipment, J STAXX and Bidois, with music ranging across house, bass, breakbeat, UK dubstep, jungle and drum & bass. The focus is on digging a little deeper and sharing music people might not have heard before. The DJs are also working together on the running order and flow of the night, so each set can have its own identity without feeling completely disconnected from the one before it. Expect plenty of new finds, underground selections and a night that moves through a few different corners of electronic music.
