Midnight Bass presents Nectax (Over/Shadow) - Jungle & Drum & Bass - Free TicketsLa Cheetah Club, Glasgow · Saturday, 10 October 2026

Nectax has evolved into one of the most in-demand artists in modern jungle. From the 2023 anthem “Voychek” on Over/Shadow, to being tapped by DJ Flight to restart her long-dormant play:musik label, and a collaboration with Tim Reaper for Future Retro London, the Newcastle producer has built a reputation for restless, high-impact music at the intersection of jungle, footwork, techno and hybrid 160 sounds. A DJ Mag Best of British nominee for Breakthrough Producer, Nectax—Ollie Underhill—has become a central voice in a new wave of North East drum & bass and jungle talent. His catalogue spans releases and collaborations across labels including Overview, RAM Records, Hospital Records, Guidance, Audio Addict and Over/Shadow, while his own Stereo 45 imprint further reflects a commitment to pushing his sound and platform on his own terms. In October 2025, Nectax released his debut LP, A State of Play, via Over/Shadow. The album draws on the ruffage and breakbeat pressure of jungle’s foundations while opening it out into footwork, techno and contemporary club music; Mixmag called it the “pinnacle of a standout few years” for the Newcastle artist. Whether operating at full-throttle rave intensity or exploring more leftfield rhythmic terrain, Nectax’s productions connect deep knowledge of drum & bass culture with a distinctly forward-facing instinct—making him as effective in a peak-time set as he is compelling on record.
