the butcher bird is a Sri Lankan-born Scottish DJ. A Voices Radio resident, she has spent the last year as a regular on the Norwich scene and is now back in London full time, having played at venues including Gonzo's, Venue MOT and Corsica Studios. She is musically omnivorous and draws on a range of sounds to take dance floors on a journey. Expect sonic landscapes packed with delicious darkness, euphoric highs, the odd surprise and plenty of acid.
