French DJ and producer Siu Mata is increasingly recognized for his exceptional productions, ranging from dembow-infused bass tracks to innovative dancehall variations. Always on the move and in perpetual search of new fusions of genres, he draws on diverse influences such as Jungle, Bass and Ghetto, as well as rhythms and textures such as Tribe, Trance and Percussive Musique. Collaborating both independently and with his talented friend and associate Amor Satyr under their respective names and alias Sexapil, Siu Mata has carved out a niche for himself as a meticulous producer and DJ, creating dancefloor anthems for those with insatiable energy and a zest for rhythm. Looking for a home for these innovative sounds, it was in 2018 that he decided alongside Amor Satyr to found the Wajang label. It's on this that he releases the majority of his EPs, but also on numerous labels such as Nervous Horizon, Hiedrah Club de Baile, Hardline, Jerry Horny, NAAFI or Nostro Hood System.
