When stepping into a space, it can become an intense experience and memory. Strongly drawn to this phenomenon, Saskia is convinced that music has the power to realize those moments in an even deeper state. Now based in the UK, she continues to create works that move between ambient and rhythmically experimental sound. Her latest LP es, released in 2024, explores the theme of “something invisible yet undeniably present”, a reflection on vitality and the ways existence can be revealed through observation. Combining experimental structures with a sense of narrative, the album offers open-ended interpretations for the listener. Alongside her studio work, she actively performs live and DJs, using improvisational approaches to examine how sound interacts with space. Her ambient pieces—rooted in surrounding landscapes, environmental sounds, and shifting daily emotions—and her dance-oriented tracks, shaped through the lens of industrial techno and electronica, are filled with playful and unpredictable ideas. With the concept of “Sound to _____ this magnificent cell” at her core, Saskia lands momentarily, floating, before setting off on yet another adventure.
