PETERBLUE is a 23-year-old DJ and producer based in Barcelona, Spain, originally from Bogotá, Colombia. He is currently recognized as one of the leading figures in Latin Club and a pioneer of post-pandemic Latin fusion. His disruptive approach takes the best of global club music and fuses it with Latin rhythms such as merengue, reggaeton, dembow, and a wide amalgamation of genres, bringing a fresh and renewed perspective to the European and global scene. His interest in music began during adolescence, initially through projects outside of electronic music. At 17, he moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he studied music production and immersed himself in the local techno scene. It was there that his disruptive style began to attract attention within the Buenos Aires rave scene, leading to his first major club appearance at UnderClub, where he debuted in December 2023. That same year, he released one of his most significant musical milestones: his debut EP, Bailar Para No Pensar, featuring now-considered classics such as God Save The Groove and Latin Ecstasy Club. This release marked a decisive turning point in his career, as his music was exported for the first time to dancefloors and clubs across Europe. In 2024, he returned to Bogotá, Colombia, where his sound continued to evolve. He released Discoteca Amerikana, a project known for reviving a forgotten 1990s genre: techno-merengue.
