Karlis Logins is a Latvian electronic music producer and composer. Mainly influenced by progressive rock and southern sludge, he has played guitar and bass in various Latvian sludge/industrial metal underground bands. In 2016 he founded the technotrip project Molecular Beats together with vocal artist Anna Meiere Logina. The band has continuously performed in underground clubs in 2017, gradually replacing live instruments with electronics. The current sound of Molecular is a mix of industrial, noise and hypnotic techno: heavy electronics, groovy guitar riffs, occasional growl or clean vocals. Karlis resides in Berlin, while intensively working on new material, combining techno and sludge.
