Mia Lilydrum and bass artist
Her sound is rooted in rave — bass-driven, dubby and percussive, blending elements of bass, techno, trance, house and more. Alongside her UK presence, Mia has also played internationally, with shows and radio appearances in Berlin, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Belgium. On air, she has built a steady presence with monthly residencies on Balamii and Foundation FM, alongside appearances on Rinse FM, Represent, BBC Radio 1Xtra and Keep Hush. With a background in classical piano and family roots in jazz, Mia released her debut EP ‘Hydrated but Drunk’ on Shall Not Fade. With buzz from Beatport, featuring Mia on ‘On Our Radar’, and release track premieres with Mixmag, Beatports ‘Studio Jam’, and plays on BBC Radio 1. Along with a BBC Radio 1 introducing mix for Jezz Iszatt. Mia’s excited to play new music at Boardmasters, and more festivals this summer.
