When it’s Fearless on the mic, his unique tone and flow distinguishes him from his peers. He’s been in the game from the beginning and literally been there, seen it and done it all. Fearless started MCing in the sound system circuit, MCing to Ragga and Rare Groove. After he first heard Acid House Fearless connected to a DJ outfit called The Brainkillers & DJ Red Ant who had their own show on pirate radio station, Innocent FM. It was here where he started to hone his skills. Shortly after Innocent FM went under, Fearless was headhunted by the guys who ran the legendary weekend Rush FM. It was this station which built the one time rookie MC and put him on the path to success. 1989 was the year he took his MCing to another level. He was attending a Time Tunnel event at Slammers in Gravesend Kent, where he met the DJ who was going to be a great influence in his career- the King of Jungle, the one and only Kenny Ken. 1993 was the year time he came to the attention of legendary Drum & Bass outfit AWOL. Teaming up with great friend MC GQ, they went on to host the seminal nights at the Paradise Club. The culture at AWOL was one that resonated with Fearless. It was simply about fun, community and the shared experience of dancing all night to some serious fresh dubs dropped by the DJ’s. It really was A Way of Life.
