London-based DJ Louise Plus One has been collecting vinyl and DJing since the 90s. Louise plays a range of styles, including Acid House, Early Dutch/US/Belgian Techno, Breakbeat Hardcore, Jungle Techno, Jungle/DnB and a range of current upfront styles. Louise's humble beginnings in promoting events led to the successful ReRaveAll nights held in iconic London venues such as The Dungeons & Brixton Mass in London. In 2011, Louise and her partner DJ Hughesee formed Distant Planet along with some friends. Distant Planet has gone from strength to strength, promoting daytime and nighttime events, featuring old-skool and new-skool Jungle and Hardcore. Louise +1 has a solid history playing events including Rupture, PRSPCT, Singularity, Brighton Loves Jungle, An Experience Presents,, Sick Crew Berlin, Dissonance, Riverdance, Eco System, Calling the Hardcore, Elysium and Mungo’s Hifi. She has also been booked for festivals such as Bangface, Glastonbury Festival (Bloc 9, Brainwash), Outlook, Field Maneuvers , Frequency (Portugal), Ground Rules, Symmetry, We Out Here, Landed, Surplus, Balter, Norberg and Together, to name a few. Louise co-runs Distant Planet TV alongside DJ Hughesee on Youtube where you can catch live streams, interviews and sets from Distant Planet Parties.
