Furiosadrum and bass artist
Furiosa was inspired by heavy metal and gothic/orchestral music at a very young age. She discovered industrial just as the scene was dawning on the digital era and fell in love with how organic music could merge with synths and cyber-esque/futuristic sounds to make what we have come to love today in the heavier side of dark liquid and neurofunk drum and bass. Combined with her love of grand, cathedral soundscapes and cinematic tunes, her love for storytelling really shines through in every set. She rarely plays sets on a whim- preferring to work with a theme, an idea or concept. The mundane inspires her, which is what makes her relatable as a selector. But she'll always find a way to dig out the unknown too. Her sets are dark and furious, with light at the end of the tunnel that promise to take you through provocative sonic journeys that are genre-defying and deviating from the usual.
