DJ Strawberry is a producer/DJ from Istanbul based in Berlin. His work hugely feature micro grooves experiments, with considerable inspiration coming from Japanese footwork minimalism. His debut release ‘cycles’ on outlines label stood out as a seminal ambient-footwork mix labeled as one of the best tape releases of the year by the Quietus magazine. His later works appeared in acclaimed labels such as Defrostatica and appendix.files (DE), Yuku (CZ), and Kool Switch works (JP); ranging from texture-based juke, footwork-jungle, or even touching 200 bpm deconstructed club.
