Bazland discovered a passion for djing from a mixture of excitement brought on by the new wave of technology and a new found love of electronic music! Hes been djing to the public through his involvement in Traffic Music in Shrewsbury which has seen him dj across Shropshire, and as far as Birmingham, Leicester and London! His passion for djing is matched by complimentary passions for promoting traffic events, running the traffic soundsystem and pushing his latest venture the BAZaa artist agency, which understandably limits his focus and sometimes leaves only the regular traffic events for his DJ output! The current Bazland DJ setup is based around the latest version of Traktor used Internally with controllers/effects and over HID/USB with the cdj2000's through four channels of the dj mixer, having organicly progressed through vinyl/cd's over the years, and always experimenting with the latest software/hardware to add something special to his molecular style sets. As co-promoter of traffic he is trying to bring the best international talent to Shrewsbury where economics allow and push a fresh underground sound to its patrons. Traffic is approaching its 8th year and previous guests have included Phil Kieran, Jim Rivers, Harvey Mckay, King Unique, Jimmy Van M, Trevor Rockliffe and Rebekah. Bazland is well travelled having visited all the best techno clubs and festivals across Europe, which gives him the inspiration and desire to feed the sound of the future to the dancefloor…
