Alfs is a storyteller from the UK underground, raised in London during the birth of grime and sharpened on Eski-beat clashes before switching lanes to drum & bass. After moving to a new city, he hosted a weekly DnB night and took his voice across the UK and Europe. A later pause to co-found a fast-growing independent festival widened his view of the scene; in 2025 he returned to the booth and studio with Heart on Interstellar Audio—an autobiographical album that pairs heavy breaks with honest, clear-eyed writing and has picked up support from LTJ Bukem, Spectrasoul and others. On stage, Alfs keeps it focussed: rolling DnB, liquid tension and 140 shades, with tight live vocals that serve the tune rather than crowd it. In the studio he moves between personal narratives and lean, club-first writing. Recent work includes “Hunt / Pathogen” with Belgian producer Grintax on Outline Audio, plus album cuts with Merdz, Charis, Xonder, Telomic and Noppo.
