DJ 1000raks (formerly raks2riches) is a multi-genre DJ and sound artist, whose style lends focus to music of Black, Queer and Trans origins. Raks’ potent and seamless mixes take you on a journey of catharsis, evoking unabashed joys and movement on the dance floor. He has performed at a host of nights and cultural spaces including, Black Pride (Legacy) Main Stage, Cyprus Pride, Nicosia State Gallery w/ Sessions Cyprus, Somerset House, Whitechapel Gallery BAXSAN Takeover, Boiler Room x Gurls Talk, Soho House, The Cocoa Butter Club, Pxssy Palace, Let’s Have a Kiki LDN, Body Swap, Museum of Home, NUMBI Arts Festivals, Nite Dykez, playing alongside iconic performers such as Mike Q, A.G and opening for Dur Dur Band International.
